• Organizing an annual Art Walk throughout the downtown of Manasquan

• Hosting a fashion show featuring the local shops

• Decorating the clubhouse for the holidays

• Hosting art activities for the club members

Conservation:

• Organize participation in Clean Ocean Act’s twice yearly beach cleanups

• Collect blankets for local animal shelters

• Promote sustainability efforts in and around our clubhouse i.e. landscaping, waste reduction and increased recycling

• Collaborate with other departments and with outside organization’s conservation efforts

Education:

• Advertise, sponsor and choose recipient for annual high school scholarship(s)

• Assist committees in raising funds for scholarships, i.e. Gift Auction Event

• Coordinate volunteers for annual Read Across America/Dr. Suess’ Birthday event at the elementary school

• Coordinate ad hoc education activities for members and the community

Community Outreach:

• Collects winter coats for Jersey Cares

• Manages a collection of items for Mary’s Place by the Sea, along with assisting them on a mailing campaign

• Collects pajamas for NJ DCPP throughout the year

• Gathers pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House

• Facilitates a prom dress collection in conjunction with Lunch Break

• Makes weekly breakfasts, bimonthly boxed lunches, and two community dinners for the Little Food Pantry

• Organizes a giving tree for the collection of gift cards for families at Common Ground

• Organizes a March Clothing Drive to benefit Jersey Shore Rescue Mission and 180 Turning Lives Around

• Organizes two American Red Cross blood drives

• Sorts donations onsite at Fulfill Food Bank monthly and organizes a food drive

• Supports the Kindness Cafe weekly

• Visits senior residences

• Collects items for and the creation of goody bags for Meals on Wheels and First Responders

Fundraising:

•Collaborate in the development of the new committee by sharing fundraising ideas and resources.

•Promote community awareness and encourage participation in fundraising events.

•Assist in the planning and execution of board approved activities.

•Support the chairs and committee members as committed and enthusiastic participant.
